Pergo wood flooring installs with a unique tongue and groove system, 'SmartLock', to ensure an easy and accurate fit. If you plan to install it yourself, use Pergos easy instructions to guide you through the process.

Once they are laid, Pergo floors are a breeze to clean. Pergo floors have  LusterGard finish, to protect against scratches and water damage. and are close to maintenance free, never needing polishing, wax, or treatments.

Pergo is made of a unique composite of layers. The majority of the floor plank is a thick, waterresistant material designed for consistant wear resistance, with a backing of polymer attached to the bottom to add stability and help the floor adjust to changes in humidity and temperature. On top is the flooring 'image', which is actually a decorative material that is somewhat similar to the popular laminates used for bathroom and kitchen counters, but w/ important differences. Pergo,  uses a 3-layer composition of decorative cellulose paper, heatresistant base layer, & melamine resins, bonded to each another and then to the core material. Hardeners are also added which make the laminate layer some 25 x harder than the laminates used for countertops, according to Pergo.

Pergo floors carry an excellent warranty against staining, fading, wear-thru, and water damage. This has helped to ensure Pergo's #1 rating in consumer satisfaction year after year.

In summary Pergo flooring offers the total package of beauty, ease of maintenance, and easy installation.
